We invite you to join the Pancretian Meeting of Bodies organized by the animal welfare associations on Saturday, 30th April 2011 at 10.30 am in the “Pollaplon Chriseon” Hall, on the following thematic sections:

• Decisions and measures to combat the plague of animal abuse in Crete and meet minimum welfare standards (which now are lacking) and

• Abolition of the barrel dogs (dogs chained to barrels).

Helpers and supporters in this effort are the General Police Directorate of Crete, the Crete Public Prosecutor and the Regional and Municipal authorities, whose top representatives will attend the Meeting and be the key speakers.

Representatives of the political parties as well as other intellectuals will also attend the Meeting and give speeches.

Your presence and your contribution to the success of the meeting is necessary and crucial.
